Just to prove to Anthony that I know about obscure dates it came to my attention last month that March 14th has a special significance of its own.  Everybody knows about February 14th and it’s association with Valentine’s Day.  Basically a day where men are expected to lavish gifts and money on their significant others, even though there are anniversaries, birthdays and Christmas where men are expected to buy gifts as well.  Valentine’s Day is when you are supposed to show your love and if you don’t you can expect blowback.  Well, some guy (college kid most likely) decided that men need a special day of their own where the women can express their love.  Thus was born Steak and BJ Day.  A day that all men can rejoice in two of the greatest comforts in the world.  So Anthony, were you aware of this man-centric “holiday”?
